Booking Policies
An online consultation and deposit is required to secure all appointments.
Deposits
A deposit is required to book all appointments. New treatement deposits are £100. Other treatments such as top ups etc require a 50% deposit. All deposits are non-refundable. You may change your appointment time and transfer the deposit once, so long as 7 days notice is given.
If less than 7 days notice is given or you fail to arrive to your appointment for any reason, your deposit will be forfeited and another must be paid to secure your appointment.
When you book an appointment with me, please respect that I reserve 3-hours of my working day solely for you!
Due to the length of appointments, the fact I travel and work in different locations, as well as consultation and patch test requirements, I can rarely rearrange the diary to fill cancelled/rescheduled slots at short notice. Therefore, this 7-day policy is in place to protect my business and will always be applied regardless of the reason for cancellation/late rescheduling. Thank you for your kind understanding.
(Please note – If you cancel on the day or no-show your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit and be required to pay in full to book another appointment.)
KLARNA & Clearpay – For new treatment bookings made with payment plans, £100 of your total balance due with Klarna or Clearpay acts as the non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment. This means in the event you choose not to proceed with your treatment, £100 will still be due to/retained by KM Brows and £150 will be refunded/deducted from your outstanding balance with Klarna or Clearpay. If you wish to reschedule within 7-days of your appointment, the original £100 will be retained to cover lost clinic revenue for your original appointment, and a further £100 will then be due to act as the new deposit for your rescheduled appointment.
This is in line with the standard deposit rules above for the fairness of all.
Patch Tests
Patch tests are recommended but not mandatory. You can opt to waive a patch test but must sign a waiver form for insurance reasons.
If you would like to have a patch test, you must arrange this with myself at least 24hrs prior to treatment.
Failing to have a patch test (if desired) is not a valid reason to cancel/reschedule your appointment and the cancellation policy above will still apply.
Lateness
Please arrive to your appointment on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. This treatment cannot be rushed!
Pre-Care
Please avoid the following for 24-hours before treatment:
-Caffeine -Alcohol -Ibuprofen – Cod Liver Oil -Turmeric supplements
Refunds
No refunds are given after treatment has been carried out.
Top ups
Second appointments or “top ups” are recommended for best results and must be carried out 4-12 weeks after your initial appointment. One healing cycle must take place before a follow up session can be performed. The top up session is priced at £50 if undertaken within the recommended time frame of 4-12 weeks. I will always prioritise top up bookings for existing clients where possible, however it is the clients responsibilty to ensure the follow up appointment is booked in this time frame.
If you do not contact me to book your top up within 12 weeks then it will be classed as a “colour boost” with a minimum charge of £80< depending on the level of work required.
If you have existing microblading or brow tattoo
If you have previously had treatment elsewhere, you MUST inform me before booking. Failure to do so may result in your appointment being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
Planned Procedures
You must advise if you have any other facial procedures such as injectables planned close to your treatment date as this may make you ineligible.
Guests
Only the client receiving treatment and myself are permitted in the salon. No children or companions are allowed for insurance reasons.
Realistic Expectations
At KM Brows I pride myself on providing natural results that enhance your beauty. However, it is important to come to your appointment with realistic expectations. Many factors can affect your results, such as resting muscle movement, the density of your hair and existing brow asymmetry. If your brows are naturally very uneven, potential solutions will always be discussed at consultation if neccesary.
Results
The same level of service is provided for all clients, however due to the nature of this treatment, healed results will vary and cannot be guaranteed. Pigment retention is heavily influenced by your immune system, skin type, lifestyle, skincare, general health and use of any medications. Adherence to the aftercare instructions is crucial for best results.
Refusal of service
I have a zero-tolerance policy for rudeness and reserve the right to refuse service at any point, to any client who I consider rude, abusive, disrespectful, intoxicated, clearly unwell or violent towards myself, other staff or clients.
As a business owner I run my business in a polite and respectful way and am not obligated to provide my time or service to anyone who cannot behave in the same manner or respect my policies. Your deposit will be retained and you will not be allowed to book again.
Failure to disclose information requested on your consultation form may result in cancellation of your treatment and loss of your deposit. Please be honest as if you do not it may impact your results.
In very rare cases I may decline service if I feel that the treatment is not the right option for you for any reason. This is at my complete discretion as an artist and a professional. In these cases you will have your deposit returned.
Parking
Please leave enough time to find parking. At our Cornwall clinic, parking is available on the street or in the nearby COOP car park. If you are parking on the street, please respect our neighbours and leave driveways accessible. Thank you.
